IDENTIFY YOUR PET WITH MICROCHIP IDENTIFICATION
Microchipping is a permanent form of identification for your pet. The microchip is injected into your pet, and has a unique number which will be registered to you, with all your contact details. The microchip can be read using a scanner, which would be performed by all Veterinary Practices, Rescue Centres, Dog Wardens etc.
We only use ISO standard microchips, which are suitable for the Pet Passport scheme if you want to take your dog abroad (EU Only). The chips are also suitable with the new microchip catflaps which are proving very popular with all cat owners.
Once your pet is microchipped, they will be registered with PETLOG the UK's National Pet Identification Scheme for the lifetime of your pet. Once your pet is chipped you will benefit from the following;
- Petlog 24hr helpline if your pet were to go missing
- Registration onto The Petlog Database
- Welcome letter & certicate of registration
- Collar tag
- Anti-migratory microchips
- Microchip lifetime guarantee
- Advice from call centre
- Registration upgrades available to Petlog Premium
